It's Friday, a day of frivolity and fun, so let me augment my SOME INTERESTING FACTS with more:

1.  Gisele Bundchen was quoted to say:

My husband cannot f---ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.

She, of course, is married to New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady, loser of the Super Bowl, she, the highest paid model in 2011:

    Gisele Bundchen     $45 million
    Heidi Klum             $20 million
    Kate Moss               $14 million

Brady is only the #5 highest paid NFL QB at $13 million.  You'd never guess who is #1.  Ta da...................Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets.

2.  The hottest pepper today is the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, at 2 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU).
The list:
Scoville heat unitsExamples
15,000,000–16,000,000Pure capsaicin[4]
8,600,000–9,100,000various capsaicinoids (e.g., homocapsaicin,homodihydrocapsaicinnordihydrocapsaicin)
500,000–2,000,000Most Law enforcement grade pepper spray[5], though 200,000 or lower once diluted[6]Trinidad Moruga Scorpion[7].
855,000–1,463,700Naga Viper pepper,[8] Infinity Chilli,[9] Bhut Jolokia chili pepper,[10][11] Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper[12]
The Naga Jolokia is at 1 million plus SHU (left) and the Red Savina is at 580,000 SHU (right).  They kind of all look the same.

Remember that jalapeno in Mexican restaurants that you once experienced to just about kill you.  Well,  it is rated at a pedestrian 5,000 or so.

3.  The oldest couple still alive are Karan (106) and Kartari Chand (99) from the UK, who celebrated their 86th wedding anniversary.  Karan has a daily cigarette and a tot of whiskey daily.  His advice?  "Eat and drink what you want, but in moderation."  They really like Ghee, clarified butter. Supposedly, Ghee can be stored at room temperature for two years.  I would question that longevity, but, maybe, I'll go out and buy a bottle, as I'm into low salt butter.  I've already purchased two kinds of coconut oil and a bottle of macadamia nut oil.  These oils apparently minimize the potential of Alzheimers and dementic variations.

4.  In case you missed it in the Super Bowl halftime show with Madonna, here is Mathangi "Maya" Araulpragasam's (also know as Missing In Action, M.I.A.) controversial appendage:

She does, indeed, have an especially long middle finger.  Madonna expressed mild outrage, but that smartly reduces her legal  and social responsibility.

I did warn you the other day that the New York Knicks would not go undefeated for the rest of the year.  Tonight, they lost to the New Orleans Hornets, with Jeremy Lin scoring 26 points, plus  5 assists and 4 steals, but, arghh....9 turnovers.  However, the larger problem was:  Bill Walker at 1 for 5, Landry Fields 1-8, Steve Novak 2-9 and Iman Shumpert 3-9.   The average ticket price was three times higher ($557 versus $181) at the Garden.  Okay, off the record, meaning don't blame me, it can be guaranteed that the Knicks will on Sunday (ABC, 1PM ET) demolish (whoah...make that beat) the 2011 Champions Dallas Mavericks.  Why?  For one, Melo might finally start.  That's Carmelo Anthony.  For two, Jeremy Lin and  Amare Stoudemire.

If Joe Namath (obvious which one he is) of the New York Jets could guarantee a victory (called the greatest upset in the NFL, ever), as he did nearly 43 years ago, this 2012 New York win should be a slam dunk.  Then, the NBA championship?  Maybe.

The Dow Jones Industrials jumped up 46 to 12,950, and is at another four year high, with the NASDAQ at a decade long max.  The world market almost all also increased.  Gold fell $8/toz to $1723, while oil is creeping up, the WTI Cushing at $103/barrel and the Brent Spot at $121/barrel.
