PaGA 2017: Day 3 Okay...Who Stepped on That Butterfly?

Let me give you the answer first:  Corey Johnson.  So what's the big deal about he stepping on a butterfly?  There are some illogics at play here, but this is an example of how panicked innocence can change the future.

My previous post expressed worry about President Donald Trump ending America's greatness (scroll to next article).  I was here in Hiroshima six months ago for the Fall colors.  Barack Obama was U.S. President then, and all was well.  In the Spring he had become the first President to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

Today, I'm again in Hiroshima and the world is not well.  Nightmarishly, I find that Donald Trump is PUS #45.  What happened?  Corey Johnson stepped on that butterfly.

In 1952 Ray Bradbury published A Sound of Thunder, a short story where in 2055 time travel had become a reality and Time Safari offered wealthy adventurers the chance to travel back in time to shoot dinosaurs.  A hunter named Eckels pays $10,000 to 65 million years ago to kill a Tyrannosaurus Rex.  To make a long story short, he panics at the site, jumps off the path and steps on a butterfly.  When the team returns, the moderate president has been replaced by a Fascist.

So it was Eckels that changed time?  Yes, but, there was a junk 2005 movie (Rotten Tomatoes:  6/18--rarely do you see such low scores--especially one starring Ben Kingsley) with the same name where it was Corey Johnson as Christian Middleton who stepped on that butterfly.  I mean what better answer do you have to explain how Donald Trump became PUS#45?

Tomorrow, Day 4, Hiroshima and the potential for World Peace.
