I had completed a posting on global climate change and Donald Trump, but happened to stumble across a couple of You Tube clips inspired by Trump and his administration, especially those from Germany, so I promise tomorrow to get serious, but will spend today laughing.  Let me start with Sean Spicer, played by Melissa McCarthy, from Saturday Night Live.  His (herpress conferences have become priceless.

Yes that was Melissa McCarthy.  The star of these shows, however, remains Alec Baldwin, who hosted a record 17th time this past weekend.  Kate McKinnon also has had her moments, as Senator Elizabeth Warren, Jeff Sessions and Kellyanne Conway.  Saturday Night Live, after 22 years, now plays to a record high TV audience.

Maybe as large as SNL are those Hitler Rage Parodies from Germany.  The background is the 2004 film Downfall, rated as an amazing 91% (reviewers) and 94% (audiences) by Rotten Tomatoes.  You might begin by watching the original Hitler rant.  As the dialogue is in German, English words are substituted, taking hilariousness to a new and higher level.  That is Bruno Ganz as Hitler.  This all started three years ago, and here is a trailer.  These are 10 of the funniest.

However, you need to hurry up and watch these gems because they are considered to be so tasteless and offensive to some that they are beginning to disappear on You Tube.  At least watch this tense moment when Hitler finds out Donald Trump has won the Republican nomination.  Hint: also on Vimeo and DailyMotion.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average broke all-time records for the sixth straight day, creeping up 8 to 20,620.
