We are on Kenji's Golf Safari #16.  Their first attempt was an almost total disaster to Myrtle Beach,   With a local population of 30,000, they have 100 golf courses.  Unfortunately, it rained, and rained and rained.  I wasn't there.

Since then, the Safari has remained either in the Las Vegas, Reno or Napa Valley areas.  We are currently in the latter region, and have completed four straight days of golf at Rancho Solano (twice), Paradise Valley and Cypress Lakes.  We have now featured Red Wine, Margherita, White Wine and Bloody Mary Rounds.  Our dinners have included Japanese, Mexican and steak meals.

Today, it was Cypress Lakes, my foursome included Andy, Gerry and Kenji, and the cloud formation was awesome:

Two days ago record highs up to 100 were being broken here.  Today, it was freezing, with the wind chill in the 40's.  Not to brag too much, but I've now won twice.  Unfortunately, my other rounds were so abysmal, that I did not make the final four low score group for tomorrow, our final day.  We then return to San Francisco.

Our final round was back in Paradise.  Here Kenji scaring some geese.  They certainly looked like nenes:

I seemed to always be under trees:

The overall winner with lowest net score was Leroy.  I came in fourth.

Kenji at the San Francisco Airport Red Carpet Club:

Thanks Kenji for making all the arrangements.  We were both upgraded to First Class, and I had a pasta lunch with a red wine and beer:

The 777 we rode was relatively new and  had no movie screen or personal TV.  Instead, you needed to  supply your own computer to wirelessly watch movies and other programs.  Except for one problem.  The system needs more work, for it was spotty and intermittent.
