I love Amazon.com. I bought at $16.64/share, and the stock is now up to $130+. Just for fun, I looked up what a couple of my earlier published books cost:
Solar/Wind Handbook for Hawaii was co-authored with Waqidi Falicoff and George Koide, and was printed exactly 31 years ago in May of 1979, just before I joined the staff of U.S. Senator Spark Matsunaga in D.C. You know what it costs today?

Waqidi; KOIDE, George; TAKAHASHI, Patrick FALICOFF (Hardcover)
$246.75
Amazon.com has no image, but here is a photo:
The next book came in 1991:
Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion
ISBN: 0-471-96009-8
Publishers: John Wiley & Sons, 1996
Authors: Patrick Takahashi, Andrew Trenka
This book is part of the UNESCO Energy Engineering Series, a distance learning package. It provides a good overview of OTEC and other ocean energy technologies. It has sections on economics as well as OTEC thermodynamics. This 75 page "booklet" is recommended to anyone who wants to get a quick overview, which also has some indepth material. Decently priced.

I searched and searched, but could not find another source of this $246.48 book. This could be the absolute last copy available in the Universe.
In 2003 I was asked by UNESCO to provide the Anton Bruun Memorial Lecture in Paris on Energy from the Sea: The Potential and Realities of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC). The presentation was co-authored by Joseph Vadus and Stephen Masutani. Everything you want to know about the Blue Revolution is contained in this PDF file.
Of course, then, my two recent SIMPLE SOLUTION books:

The Dow Jones Industrials dropped a hundred, but settled minus 37 to 10,748, with world markets mixed. Gold went up $28/toz to $1231 and crude oil is now just under $76/barrel.
