• In the MAGA-world and Christian Nationalism circles, supporters see his imminent arrest as eerily similar to the crucification of Jesus Christ.

  Some in our Christian nation sees Trump as their savior.
• A typical statement is one by Joseph McBride (bald guy with a beard), who represented a few of those charged with the January 6 Capitol attack

“President Trump will be arrested during lent—a time of suffering and purification for the followers of Jesus Christ,” McBride wrote on Twitter. “As Christ was crucified, and then rose again on the 3rd day, so too will @realdonaldtrump.”

So is Jesus sitting next to Trump during his trials?

Or has Jesus returned?
