In comparison, Day 32 of the Lower Puna Eruption only shows one death, by suicide. However, fissure #8 is continuing to pump lava through Kapoho, and 117 homes have been destroyed in total, with 500 more in this general area. The flow last night also entered Kapoho Bay:

I went to see Book Club this weekend. Rotten Tomatoes got it right: 52% by reviewers and 63% by audiences. While mildly entertaining, what a waste of talent: Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, Craig Nelson, Andy Garcia, Ed Begley and Richard Dreyfuss. Fluffy, a lot of wine, Hollywood endings...huge missed opportunity.
This coming week will see the release of Hereditary (RT: 98%/97%), a supernatural horror film. Then on June 22, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Rotten Tomatoes reviewers have already bestowed a 99% anticipation rating:It's been three years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles. When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.
