SUNSET AT HUALALAI
Last year I spread Pearl's ashes during sunset at the Four Seasons Hualalai. Tonight I went to the beach with a Keller Estate Pinor Noir and a Baccarat cigar.
At sunset I then had a private ceremony tossing her ashes into the ocean. Above the scene before sunset.
Here is a timed sequence over the next half an hour. Best sunset I've experienced in years.
I then had my dinner: ahi sashimi, sauteed spinach and something called chuka soba noodles with a St. Pauli Girl beer and the remainder of the red wine. I found the fried noodles disappointing. That traditional Zaru soba would have been ideal.
