The event of this summer will be the London Olympics. The opening ceremonies will begin at 9PM (4PM New York, 10AM Hawaii) on Friday, July 27, with a harmonically tuned bell and Queen Elizabeth II, followed nearly three hours later at the end with Sir Paul McCartney. Like filmmaker Zhang Yimou directed this event in China four years ago, Director Danny Boyle (remember Slumdog Millionaire?) will choreograph the festivities for a worldwide viewing audience of a billion. If you wanted to be there, tickets have long been sold out, but, you have until July 18 to gain two Cadbury VIP passes.
