CHRISTMAS 2025 IN SINGAPORE

The breakfast buffet at the Marriott Tang Plaza is crowded and hectic, but bountiful and wonderful.  I had two courses  The first, ramen,

The second, more traditional for the Western world.

After just resting from our late breakfast, decided to walk around for awhile to see what the sights would be in daylight.

We were greeted by my Blue-bar Pigeon.
Ion Plaza.

Then went to the Executive Lounge for 2 hours of of drinks and eats to begin our Christmas Eve on Orchard Road, for the Great Singapore 2025 Christmas Eve Street Party.

Walked 4472 steps today.
We spent Christmas Day in Singapore mostly resting.  Won't even bother you with a great buffet breakfast.  Walked around a bit, for stores are all open here on Christmas.

Had a fine time in the Marriott Tang Plaza Executive Lounge.
Australian Sauvignon Blance, Shiraz and champagne, plus a Chivas Regal 12 on rocks,
Went for a second course.
Walked 2877 steps,

What do Singaporeans do on Christmas?  Here is an ultimate guide for 2025.

  • Best places for lights and decorations
    • #1 is of course Orchard Road, where we went last night.  About two miles, from Tanglin to Dhoby Ghaut.  The Marriott Tang Plaza is right next to where this all starts.
    • #2 is Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay.
    • #3 is the Christmas Train Show at the Flower Dome.
    • #4 is Changi Airport
    • #5 Marina Bay Sands.

A Christmas Eve Playbook for adults suggests as #1,    Gardens by the Bay.

#2?  Orchard Road for their Christmas Eve Walk.
So we were fortunate enough to stay at the Marriott Tang Plaza for Christmas.
