I'M IN MUNICH*

When you travel, save for those epicurean escapades, you want it all to be boringly uneventful. This was the case today. Minor snow flurries leaving Barcelona and a higher order snowfall in Munich. Taxi to the Sheraton Munchen Arabeleapark was about $100, and, while the TV set is tiny and old, the Club room is okay. My view, looking towards the city center:

Unlike most Executive Clubs, which have cocktail hours, typically, from 6-8PM, this one serves beer and wine all day. The best part of today was being advised by Rebecca on what to do tomorrow:

Today is Chinese New Year (year of the Tiger), America won America's Cup, Mardi Gras continues to be celebrated and the USA leads the medal count in Vancouver. Oh, Happy Valentine's Day. The movie by that name was #1 at the box office this weekend.

Tropical Cyclone Rene caused flooding in American Samoa, killing one person, and, is hitting Tonga as a Category 3 storm. While Rene is expected to weaken, Fiji is next.
